Application of facial biometric data in recognition of persons
Bazala, Lukáš ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
he work deals with themes of detection and identification of human faces in an image. Described are the different biometric methods and work with biometric systems. Further, a problem of image processing is described and proposed a method for locating faces in an image and implementation of Viola-Jones detector in identifying key points in the face
Audio-visual database for soft biometric and non-biometric traits extraction
Holeksa, David ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this semester project is to design a suitable database structure for the audio-visual data, parts extracted from the data corresponding to secondary biometric and non-biometric characteristics and description of these characters. The resulting database will be used for research into the identification of audio-visual content of multimedia data.
Biometric authentication methods
Robausch, Martin ; Vokoun, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šmejkalová, Martina (referee)
This thesis deals with the biometric authentication methods. It involves problematics of using biometric methods. It aslo focuses on choosing an appropriate attendance system and it´s implementation into a company.

Biometric systems - possibilities and dangers
Petržilka, Jakub ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Palovský, Radomír (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on biometric methods, particularly on fingerprint recognition. First part of thesis places biometric into other methods of people's identification. Identification by token and by knowledge. It also describes the beginning and evolution of biometric. The theoretical part also closely clarify working with data and different view on the biometric systems. The following part of the thesis defines the basic principles of using biometric systems, counting FAR and FRR indicators and weaknesses of biometric. Practical part is divided into two sections. First part contains process how to fool biometric systems, which are based on fingerprint scanning. The main objectives were to find out level of trust in biometric systems and research of the biometric market. Objectives were achieved through a self-questionnaire survey. Final part predicts probable future biometric development.
Methodical aspects of genetic diversity of cattle
MIJAILOVIĆ, Angelina
The aim of this thesis is to describe methods for assessing genetic diversity. At the beginning is described biological diversity and its distribution with focus on genetic diversity. Furthermore, mutations, segregation, recombination, migration, selection, genetic drift, and inbreeding are described. The work also deals with the polymorphisms including SNP, VNTR and microsatellites. They are described as genetic markers, marker assisted selection and genomic selection. For within-population genetic diversity the text deals with biometric methods, the part describing interpopulation genetic diversity is concerned to distances and software packages. Finally, the phylogenetic trees and thein types are described with examples of use in practice.
Evaluation of biometric data and theire usage in authentication system
Peroutka, Tomáš ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Veber, Jaromír (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to introduce the main aspects of biometry, explain particular methods of biometric analysis and determine suitable methods for using in particular authentication system by multicriterial analysis. Our criteria for method analysis are: uniqueness, universality, public acceptability and policy consideration, resistence of fraud, accuracy, speed of comparison, template storage requirements, constancy of human biometric characters. The thesis deals with the effective using of biometric characters in particular authentication system appropriate to requirements for these systems.
